Sokay that things are beyond my control
Words were not said
Nothing changes
Just go to bed
Sokay that the world is in chaos
The nations are fighting
The people are dying
And I am sipping tea in beautiful ceramics
Sokay that everyone is giving
But nobody is receiving
Everyone is a healer
But nobody heals
Sokay that people seek for affirmation
But those who seek never finds
To try so hard
But still so crowded in isolation
Sokay that people work for survival
But are never satisfied
Procrastinating what needs to be done
Resting but never recovering
Sokay to see the world burn to the ground
Only looking for fun
Doing what you can for a quick high
Eating a slice of pie
Sokay to be glued to a box
To have a dopamine fix
To smell the lily
But is it, really?
