Stay Strong

I am trying to stay strong

Amidst the Game of Thrones of life 

My country and the world of strife 

I am trying to stay strong 

But it has been so long 

Do not know where I belong 

I am trying to stay strong 

But my rest days are even harder 

Get more peace when I work till I drop 

I am trying to stay strong 

But I’m realising the less I hold on to 

The uncomfortable feelings I am bound to 

Will not go away, I might get used to

Feeling this way

Being this way 

Can’t help but want to put it away 

But then maybe I might realise that 

I do not need to be strong 

And then 

I get stronger than yesterday
