today i ran against the wind,

it is my life, going against the grain,

fighting, just fighting,

to be nothing of the same.

sameness.. sameness is sanity,

and i am comforted by chaos,

by colour,

by sound,

by movement.

clashing is the sound,

the beat of my heart,

it is not one but a circle,

of drumming, of thumping,

and i dance,

i dance.

i want to shatter the rose coloured glass,

that you my friends, you live behind.

i want to combust,

in a spur of the moment,

into iridescence,

and cover the world in light.

pain, so much pain,

but i will try to love it all away.

i am a child of the earth,

but i am not of this world.

my father, do you know Him?

he loves you too.

you may not hear me,

but one day you will.

so for now, i dance.

i dance.
